Flensing Blades

Long curved blades used for stripping fat from bodies, or severing tendons. It all depends on the intent of those wielding them.

Mechanics: When the wielder of the augmented weapon uses the Avoid skill against a melee attack, they may spend one Mind to call "Mangle Arm, 10 seconds" against the Target they just Avoided an attack from. This use of Mangle may be countered by Avoid. Must have Proficient Malicious skill to use.

King Fisher Rig

Patches of cloth that are dyed and pigmented that mute the colors of the armor it is applied to along with straps to keep gear from rattling. Anything it takes to help get the drop on unsuspecting victims.

Mechanics: When the wearer of the augmented armor leaves Stealth their next three (3) Melee Attacks swing for 5 Damage. This augment does not function if the wearer of the armor is revealed by bright light or any level of the Awareness skill. Must have at least one Proficient Weapon skill.

Body Snatcher Hooks

Used by the insidious corpse-thieves of Clan Gravetide; the wickedly barbed Body Snatcher Hooks allow them to quickly disappear with the corpses of prospective science projects or sources of parts.

Mechanics: A character utilizing Body Snatcher Hooks may take a single non-Lineage Undead or Raider corpse within arms reach with them when using the Master Stealth skill.

Safelight Lantern

The Friars of the Golden Hope and Society of Merit have shared and distributed plans for a lantern to keep travelers and adventurers safe during the Long Nights. These lanterns burn bright and fast, so keep them fueled!

Skills to Build: Basic Artisan, 10 Mind, 30 minutes

Materials: 3 Uncommon Scrap, 3 Rare Scrap, 1 Natural Fiber

Mechanics: The wielder of a Safelight Lantern may ignore the effects of Are You Alone? While the Lantern keeps them safe alone in the dark, it may draw the unwanted attention of things skulking about. Requires one (1) Simple Cooking Oil to be used per 12's to function. If broken via the Break skill the Lantern cannot be repaired and a new one must be created.

Veil of the Path

Every member of the Path of Nine Eyes receives a veil to signify their ascendance. These veils help channel the energies of the Mortis at the expense of their perceptions of the material world.

Expiration: End of Event

Mechanics: An individual wearing a Veil of the Path reduces the cost of Basic Mental Endurance and all non-Faithful Basic Anomaly skills to 1 Mind. In addition Avoid and Balance cost double. Any non-Underkingdom Lineage who uses an Anomaly skill while wearing a Veil of the Path immediately gains 2 Fractures and suffers Agony for 5 minutes.
